3 Months to 2 Years Olds
Our dedicated baby room takes 3 month to 2 year old children with only six places per session. It is a self-contained, safe and secure space with it’s own changing facilities. The babies have direct access to the room’s own outside play area which includes wooden decking and an astro-turf lawn underlain with safety rubber cushioning. Both indoors and outdoors the babies have a cheerful and stimulating environment but due to the position away from the main nursery classrooms it is also a quiet and calm space.
The Little Stars Baby room is managed by Dennise Haslam who has Level 6 status. She is ably assisted by Nursery Nurses Yanay, who is Deputy Room Lead and Stephanie who both give the children a lovely, stable and caring experience. The staff provide parents with a detailed daily report at the end of each session letting them know exactly how the day has been spent giving them peace of mind and supporting parents and child through their early milestones.
Little Stars
Whilst the babies follow a daily routine (mid-morning and afternoon snack, lunch, tea and nap times) there is plenty of time for a great variety of play that encourages the babies to investigate and explore their world. The baby room has toys such as soft play, sensory baskets and books, and the children do painting, singing, baking and creative activities. The staff have introduced the 'Curiosity Approach'
