Ofsted

Our Ofsted reports, which have been consistently “Good”, can be found at: https://reports.ofsted.gov.uk/inspection-reports/find-inspection-report/provider/CARE/403682.

Payment and funding

We take payment by BACS, cheque, cash  and standing order as well as childcare vouchers and from tax-free childcare accounts. Children attending term time only are invoiced at the start of each half-term, those attending all year round are invoiced at the start of each month.

30 hours extended entitlement funded places: Families where both parents (one parent in single parent families) earn at least the equivalent of 16 hours at minimum wage will be entitled to an additional 15 hours of free childcare for children age 3 and 4. Parents do not have to actually be working for 16 hours a week. The criteria is that they are earning the same pay as someone working for 16 hours at minimum wage and this would include those who only work for 5 or 10 hours per week but at a higher pay rate. The additional 15 hours are called the “Extended Entitlement”.

How to apply: Please go to https://childcare-support.tax.service.gov.uk/moreinfopar/2  This explains that parents will be able to apply for a reference number through the same system that is used for child tax credits and will then be able to take the reference number to the childcare setting of their choice. There is also information about who can apply at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. Further information on how this is works at Coumes Spring is available below.
