Rising Stars
2 to 4 Year Olds
Children age three to four enjoy new challenges in the Rising Stars Room. Room Leader is Jacqueline who has qualified teacher status. Gemma and Siobhan are both Deputy room leaders and they are assisted by a brilliant team of staff. The room has direct access onto a play area with a soft play surface, grass area and vegetable patch.
Children enjoy a wide variety of activities both inside and outdoors. Much of the day is “free flow” where children can play indoors or outdoors as they wish. There are also structured “group times” where children have the opportunity to learn new things together, practice number skills, develop letter sounds, play circle games to develop social skills or take part in music activities.
Rising Stars
In Autumn 2017 we opened a new adjoining building which is called the Rainbow room with it's own garden, toilets and a quiet room where two year olds are able to explore their growing independence and abilities in a nice supportive environment.
