What we provide

We provide a secure, safe, happy environment for the care, well being and education of children from 3 months to 11 years old.

Little Stars

This is our room for children 6 months to 2 years old with only six places per session. The babies have direct access to the room’s own outside play area. Both indoors and outdoors, the babies have an exciting and stimulating environment. Staff provide parents with a detailed daily report at the end of each session letting them know exactly how the day has been spent, giving them peace of mind and supporting parents and children through their early milestones.

Rainbow Room

This room is our 2 year old provision. Children have the opportunity to engage in a range of activities to explore their growing independence and abilities in a supportive environment. With 16 spaces, children are able to develop their social skills and learn to play together, with support from the caring staff.

Rising Stars

This is our preschool room for children aged 3-5 years. Children enjoy a wide range of activities both inside and outside – much of the day is “free flow” where children can move between the indoor and outdoor areas as they choose. There are also structured group times where children have the opportunity to learn new things together through fun and engaging activities, including circle games and singing activities.

During the week, children have music and Spanish lessons.

Each room has their own designated outdoors area.

Kingfisher Club

This is our wraparound care for school-aged children.

The Breakfast club is open 8am-8.40am with drop off at the classroom door. Children can have breakfast and play until time for school drop off.

Children who attend afterschool club are collected from their classrooms at Oughtibridge Primary School at the end of the school day and walk down to Coumes with our Kingfisher Club lead, Angela.

Activities before and after school include baking, ball games, craft, construction, imaginary play and board games.

During the school holidays, we welcome primary-aged children from all over Sheffield for our holiday playscheme. We are fully inclusive and work with the Special Needs Inclusion Playcare Service to welcome with disabilities.

Opening hours 8am-6pm.
